Welcome to our adventure playground! With over 700 m² of pure playtime fun, we’ve got everything to make kids’ hearts race with excitement: a huge indoor play area featuring a Ninja course, bouldering wall, T-Wall, pinball machine, and air hockey – boredom? Not here!

Outside, you’ll find a large playground with a treehouse, a grassy area for badminton, boccia, or how about a spin on the mini-quad?

And in winter? The perfect setting for building snow caves, epic snowball fights, and zooming down our sledding hill.

Here, it’s all about action, adventure, and plenty of space to run wild – just the way kids love it!

Free children's program in summer

From Mondays to Fridays, our tourism association comes up with great experiences for your children, a star hike, visits to the pony farm or a mountain pasture, geocaching and much more.

Some activities are with parents, some without - so you get some time together! The discounts that you are entitled to with your AchenseeCard (included in the Acherl) are also great, for example at Atoll Achensee, the Karwendel cable car and Rofan cable car or at the adventure park here in Achenkirch.

If you have children between the ages of 10 and 16, you can sign them up for adventures such as Segway or canoeing, rock climbing, stand-up paddling, torrent tubing or via ferrata (for a fee). Sometimes it's good for everyone to do their own thing ... Tip: As a family, you can get a special price for a tandem flight at Fly Achensee in Maurach with your AchenseeCard. That would be something for your teens!

Adventure playgrounds in the mountains

The eternal dilemma: You want to hike and enjoy nature and your children don't ...! Then come to the Achensee! The Gramaialm with its adventure playground and petting zoo is almost a self-guided hike. At the Gern Alm, your children will love the adventure playground and the game enclosure.

On the 3 km long Alpine animals circular hiking trail, you can get to know local animals and bet that you've never taken a boat to an Alpine pasture? Then discover the Gaisalm!
